Striding through The-Pride-March was this older man which Olivia had observed when she was 18-years-old. Faced with adversity; he stood proud with pure joy; yet was etched with hardship, loss, and pain. The daffodils upon his chest represent his loss to the AIDS crisis.
In his facial expressions, however, you will find his freedom and glitter. As the world spun widely with the Covid-crisis, Olivia recalled the GlitterMan’s dignity and determination. Olivia explores the symbolism of the rainbow’s faith and hope and its unwavering beauty. Olivia hopes the viewer will find joy, freedom and perseverance to continue despite any loss.
